Notes See History screen for details. Head: Roger Shannon 1997 - 2000 Successor to British Film Institute Production Division, aka bfi Production. Sometimes credited as British Film Instiute Production Board. Became the legal responsibility of the Film Council (q.v.) on 1st April 2000. As of that date, continuing to develop projects on the Film 4 and BBC slates and will co-finance another slate of shorts during the interim period to 30th September 2000. Temporarily called the Film Council Production Department.
