Notes Registered in January 1937 by Lawrence and Basil Wright. Offices at 34 Soho Square, London; in 1946? moved to 9, Great Chapel Street, Soho; and moved in 1964 to 92 Wardour Street, Soho where they had a rostrum studio. In 1968 the film production side was moved to Denham Studios, but the rostrum studio was maintained in Soho. The company specialised in documentaries and educational films. In 1955? set up a production deal with Argosy-Realist (Argosy Film Productions, also based at 9 Great Chapel St) to produce television commercials (Kinematograph Year Book 1955 p. 169). Anvil Films took a controlling interest in the company in 1956, Ken Cameron (the chairman of Anvil) taking a seat on Realist's board.
