Notes Founded by H. Bruce Woolfe. Incorporated 27/3/1927 Founded by Harry Bruce Woolfe and registered in August 1919. The company began work at Boreham Wood Elstree later moving to Welwyn Studios. They specialised in the reconstruction of World War I incidents, documentaries and natural history films such as the long-running Secrets of Nature series. The company gradually moved into feature (fiction) film production by the late 1920s. In early 1931 the company was absorbed by British International Productions, which in turn was absorbed by Associated British Picture Corporation. Rights now controlled by Canal +. The productions were originally distributed by Regent; then new Era (1923-27); and finally Pro Patria Films (1927-1931).
