Notes Registered 3/3/1911 Founded in 1909 by A.H. Bloomfield and J.B. McDowell. They gradually built up a reputation for feature films in their Newstead House studios at East Finchley, most notably with the Lt. Daring series played by Percy Morgan. By 1912 the firm was making longer films and using extensive location footage in their films, some shot by Fred Burlingham. In 1913 the firm moved to new studios in Walthamstow. Burlingham, left the company in 1914 and formed Burlingham Films. A meeting of creditors took place 19/5/1924 (Kine Year Book 1925 p. 200).
