Notes First prod: "Woman in White" Founded by Nelson Kays and Herbert Wilcox. Set up in 1928 by Herbert Wilcox. The company had studios at Boreham Wood, Elstree - Imperial Studios. Also operated from Pinewood Studios from 1936. Ceased film production in 1938 (?). Originally distributed by W&F, from 1933 to 1935 by United Artists, and after that date by General Film Distrubutors (Rank). Rank was subsequently taken over by Carlton Television.
