A HARD DAY'S NIGHT

Library Synopsis

The Beatles, a beat group of four young musicians from Liverpool, arrive in London and go through their paces on and off the television studio floor. Pursued at railway stations and stage doors by adoring fans and kept in order by their manager and dogsbody, Norm and Shake, whenever possible they escape from both to follow their own bent either individually or collectively. This lands Ringo at the police station just before the live transmission. Fortunately Grandfather, who is accompanying the boys for a change of scene, is also brought in for hawking their photographs. He escapes and George, Paul and John arrive to rescue Ringo. They are just in time to go on the air before an audience of teenagers. Then off they hustle by helicopter to the next show elsewhere.
