PANIC BUTTON

Library Synopsis

Filmed in Totalscope. Some sources give the adaptor as Mort Friedman. Faced with financial ruin through tax evasion, Frank Pagona decides to put all his money into making a TV film of Romeo and Juliet which is guaranteed to flop. The script is badly written and the cast inappropriate and/or untalented. The print is stolen and taken to the Venice Film Festival, where it is seen as satire and awarded the Golden Lion for best comedy.
