DRAMA - Historical. [Initial section missing] Ivanhoe is wounded in a jousting tournament but wins the victor's crown. He is carried to a tent, from where he sends Gurth, his servant, to the Jew, Isaac of York, with payment for the loan of armour and horse. Issac's daughter, Rebecca, enquires of Gurth the whereabouts of his master. She visits Ivanhoe's tent to find him unconscious, and has him carried back to her father's house. Isaac reproaches her for bringing an apparently dying man into the house, but allows her to nurse him. Lady Rowena finds that Ivanhoe has disappeared to the tent, and is directed to Isaac's house. Ivanhoe regains consciousness in her arms, and embraces her. The watching Rebecca swoons (1010ft) (incomplete).
