Adaptation of the 19th century novel by Anna Sewell, in which an old horse relates the story of his life and his treatment, both good and bad, at the hands of humans.

Adaptation of Anna Sewell's novel published in 1877. Black Beauty is a stallion, now at rest in a field in the English countryside, he recalls his past life. Born to an idyllic life on a country estate he is later sold to another aristocratic family but suffers a disfiguring accident with them. No longer wanted in their stables he is sold into a series of hard jobs in London until ragged and broken, he is found by his old stableboy and set out to pasture.
