Library Synopsis
Adaptation of Anna Sewell's novel published in 1877. Black Beauty is a stallion, now at rest in a field in the English countryside, he recalls his past life. Born to an idyllic life on a country estate he is later sold to another aristocratic family but suffers a disfiguring accident with them. No longer wanted in their stables he is sold into a series of hard jobs in London until ragged and broken, he is found by his old stableboy and set out to pasture.
