Library Synopsis
Based on a true story that took place in Caltavuturo, Sicily in 1893. During the celebration of Saint Sebastian, a firing squad kills 15 peasants who claim their right to state-owned land. Protests and acts of solidarity take place all over Sicily, which culminate in a demonstration in Caltavuturo.
