CARPENTER SHOP
NFA Catalogue
INTEREST. Three carpenters at work, one of whom pours himself a drink. No title. A scene in a carpenter's shop showing three men: the man on the left hammers a four-legged stool, an older, balding man in the middle by a large bench is pouring himself a drink of water from a jug, and the man on the right is sawing. The man in the middle drinks, tosses away the remainder of the water, then starts planing a strip of wood. The man on the right mops his brow. The man on the left turns the stool he is working on upside down (35ft). Note: Previously thought to be CARPENTER'S SHOP (GB 1895), but the film matches a known copy of the 1896 Edison film in the National Film Archive of Canada, Ottawa.
