COMEDY. A scene in imitation of the Lumière film ARROSEUR ARROSÉ. A gardener stands watering plants. A boy enters and stands on the hose. He then runs away down the garden path, stops and comes back, and stands on the hose again. The water stops and the gardener looks into the hose. The boy releases the hose soaking the gardener. He chases the boy down the path, catches him and drags him bac towards the camera. He then soaks the boy with the hose and with a kick sends him off camera. (60ft) Note: Initially thought to be either Robert Paul's GARDENER WATERING PLANTS or Birt Acres' A SURREY GARDEN, both filmed in the Summer of 1896. Then thought to be French, possibly Pathé's version of ARROSEUR ARROSÉ.
