Library Synopsis

Drama set in Glasgow in 1968 about a widowed woman and her three sons as they become involved in crime and gang warfare. Teenager Lex is torn between the artistic life of middle brother Alan and the thuggish world of elder brother Bobby.

A rites of passage story set on a Glasgow housing estate in 1968. About three brothers and their widowed mother. The eldest brother, missing his father and suffering nightmares, hangs out with a local gang. The quieter middle brother devotes his time to painting and a girl. The youngest, a feisty 13 year-old, is torn between the lifestyles of his brothers and under pressure from the neighbourhood gangs.
