Professor Rosi Braidotti, Professor of Women's Studies at the University of Utrecht, proposes a cyberfeminism that gives rise to a rethinking of gender, class and race within the context of virtual reality and cyberspace. She argues for a vision in which women can "disengage from the phallus" and be liberated from their confining body.
