Library Synopsis

Comedy. Tale of Oscar Joffe, an ego-maniacal theatrical producer and his protegee Lily Garland whom he bullies and overworks as an actress. She leaves him; years later they find themselves on the same train and Joffe hopes to sign a contract with her.
