Drama series set in Ireland. Father Clifford decides to hold a folk mass with Enda Sullivan singing and playing the guitar in order to bring young people to the church. Brian Quigley is making a tourist film advertising the delights of Ballykissangel- but with varying degrees of success. Assumpta agrees to Niamh's prodding and goes on a date with Enda. Aileen and Feargal are unhappy with this and Aileen confesses to Father Clifford that she loves Enda and is jealous that he is seeing Assumpta. When Assumpta finds out that Aileen is still involved with Enda is beaks off their next date. The folk mass is a success but Brian's filming of it is not.
