Library Synopsis

Romanian and Bulgarian look-alikes of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe win a celebrity contest in Bucharest. The prize is a summer engagement at an Italian resort nightclub. Difficulties at the Italian border force the pair to enter the country illegally through war-torn Yugoslavia. Their experiences alter their perceptions and ambitions.
