HORIZON: OUT OF ASIA

Library Synopsis

Looks into new archaeological discoveries that contradict accepted evolutionary theory on how modern humans emerged from Africa. Finds in Australia's Northern Territory in 1996 seem to indicate the presence of humans some 200,000 years ago, at a time when they are thought to have barely evolved in East Africa. Also investigates evidence of the same "homo erectus" on Java and Flores.
