Animation. Two 16th-century Spanish adventurers, Tulio and Miguel, find themselves in one adventurous scrape too many and as punishment are taken aboard a ship which is on its way across the Atlantic Ocean. Although the two manage to escape in a lifeboat, they are washed ashore onto a beautiful beach and captured by natives. They arrive at the famed `city of gold' known as El Dorado, where luckily they are perceived as being gods and treated like royalty. Unluckily, a young lady living in the area named Chel quickly realises they are not gods at all, and blackmails the pair into helping her to plunder a large cache of gold from El Dorado.
