Library Synopsis
Thriller. Tom Ripley is a young man from New York who is asked by a tycoon, Herbert Greenleaf, to bring his son, Dickie, home from Europe, where he has been spending his substantial allowance rather too quickly. Tom quickly becomes used to the high-living frivolous lifestyle that Dickie and his girlfriend entertain, but sooner or later the situation has to change, particularly when Herbert Greenleaf stops the supply of funds to his son.

Based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith. Set in the late 1950s, a thriller about an amoral bisexual man who is hired by an American millionaire to rescue his son and heir from a dissolute life in Italy. En route, he meets an heiress and pretends to be the wealthy young man he is out to find.
