Library Synopsis

Refugees from war-time Europe congregate in Casablanca in the hope of obtaining visas for the USA. Rick Blaine runs a bar and casino there and maintains neutral friendships with the Vichy and Gestapo forces, until Ilsa, a woman from his past with whom he was in love appears with her husband Victor Laszlo, a Resistance fighter who has escaped from the Germans.
