Library Synopsis

Documentary. The story of a mother, Natasha, and her eleven-year-old daughter Katya and Natasha's husband, Igor, who moved from the South to be with the woman he loved. The family live in the town of Montshegorsk, on the Kola peninsula, in the shadow of the Chernobyl reactor which casts a pall over their existence. The film chronicles their everyday life and their ability to survive radioactive pollution.
